Yazoo's Packaging: A Sustainable and Stylish Upgrade

Yazoo, the popular flavoured milk brand, is launching new packaging this month that is both sustainable and stylish.
The new bottles are made from 100% recycled PET and feature a perforated sleeve with an easy pull tab and a tethered cap. This makes the bottles easier to recycle and helps reduce littering.
The new packaging also has a bold new look, with elevated visuals that aim to stand out on the shelf and encourage consumers to make more sustainable choices.
"Sustainability has always been a key business focus for FrieslandCampina," said Maren Fuhrich, brand manager at Yazoo. "We have robust goals to meet in our own sustainability programme, which aims to deliver meaningful measures to reduce single-use plastics in our packaging."
Fuhrich added that Yazoo is in a great position to be a driver of change, with one in nine households purchasing a bottle of Yazoo. She also said that the new packaging falls in line with the end of Yazoo's partnership with Merlin Group, which allowed consumers to gain 2-for-1 entry to Merlin attractions.
Last year, Yazoo switched the plastic packaging on its Kids bottles for cardboard cartons as a step towards the milkshake brand's sustainability goals.
The new Yazoo packaging will be phased in gradually throughout October and November to avoid obsolete packaging and mitigate waste.
