State Street names a new Global Chief Marketing Officer.

Brenda Tsai joins one of the world's largest investment servicing and investment management firms with over 27 years of marketing leadership experience.
Brenda Tsai has been appointed as State Street Corporation's (NYSE:STT) new executive vice president and global chief marketing officer. Tsai will report to Julia McCarthy, State Street's executive vice president and global head of client experience.
Tsai will be in charge of global brand and marketing strategy as well as execution, which will include content, digital marketing, events, product campaigns, and media relations. Tsai will be in charge of leading the firm's global marketing team in accelerating customer acquisition and advancing the brand of State Street.

Tsai has extensive experience in the financial services, technology, and manufacturing industries. She has a proven track record of growing brands and modernising marketing at Fortune 500 companies. Tsai was most recently the chief marketing and communications officer at DXC Technology. Tsai previously worked as the chief marketing officer at Bank of New York Mellon and as a managing director at General Electric. Tsai previously held numerous marketing leadership positions at Procter & Gamble.

As a member of the Wall Street Journal CMO Council, the Association of National Advertisers, the Ascend Executive Network, and the Women's Forum of New York, Tsai has been an advocate for advancing marketing and diversity in business. She holds an MBA and a master's degree in international studies from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, as well as a bachelor's degree in political science with honours from Stanford University.
