Aegon published its 2021 Integrated Annual Report today (IAR). The report covers its strategy, financial, and non-financial performance. The report also discusses Aegon's businesses and stakeholders' key trends and how they affect the company's value creation and sharing today and in the future.

One of the key trends that impacts Aegon’s role and strategy is that people are living longer, and as a consequence their needs and financial behaviors are changing. Aegon is now reflecting this fundamental change in the company's purpose that was revised in 2021.
