ServiceNow releases 2022 Global Impact Report, ties executive pay to environmental, diversity goals.

ServiceNow, the premier digital workflow firm, released its second annual Global Impact Report. The 2022 report explains how ServiceNow has increased its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) development year-over-year and discusses future aspirations.

said ServiceNow CFO Gina Mastantuono.

As a purpose‑driven company committed to long‑term value creation, ServiceNow has made ESG a strategic imperative across the organization. With digital experiences that make workflow across the complex ESG landscape, ServiceNow is making progress and driving sustained impact for stakeholders and the planet. ServiceNow is proud to commit to the continued development of ESG solutions on the ServiceNow Platform and to deliver customers a carbon-neutral cloud in 2022. With this commitment, all applications on the ServiceNow Platform will be carbon neutral.

Highlights from the previous year are included in the 2022 Global Impact Report. ServiceNow will: in 2021

launched a comprehensive ESG Command Center solution that incorporates the ESG Management product to assist clients in achieving their ESG objectives. By using the Science Based Targets program, ServiceNow was able to meet its near-term science-based targets and achieve carbon neutrality and 100% renewable electricity (SBTi) Assuring Net Zero by 2030.

Associated executive pay with environmental and diversity objectives created a new employee value proposition known as the "People Pact," which synchronizes the organization's people strategy with its business plan. ongoing systematic pay equity progress made advancements in three categories of representation: Hispanic or Latinx, Black, or African American, and Women in Leadership (directors and above).

More than $10 million in community cash donations were allocated to ServiceNow's $100 million Racial Equity Fund, which was fully distributed across 10 regions of the US (grants & corporate match and rewards) 3x more employees participating in volunteer work created a solution based in the European Union (EU) for clients that prefer to have data hosted in the EU managed inside EU borders Attained an average uptime of 99.995%.

ServiceNow is committed to expanding globally and tackling problems and opportunities. ServiceNow plans to:

Continue developing ESG solutions on ServiceNow to address customer risks and opportunities. Carbon-neutralize ServiceNow's cloud by 2022. Develop near-term SBTi targets for 2026, focusing on supply chain engagement and responsible procurement. Commit $1 million over two years to non-profit decarbonization collaborations. Deliver an enterprise-wide strategic workforce plan and location strategy that focuses on underrepresented neighborhoods.

Deliver a new global diversity, equality, and inclusive approach to ServiceNow. Increase corporate donations, employee volunteerism, and donating, and scale the NextGen Professionals digital skills program. ServiceNow's voluntary ESG reporting follows GRI and SASB Software and IT Services standards. ServiceNow fits with TCFD and UN SDGs (UN SDGs). Apex, a third party, verified the company's GHG emissions, renewable energy purchases, carbon offset purchases, and net emissions in compliance with ISO 140643.
