Schneider Electric, a digital automation and energy management company, has been named a leader in Verdantix’s Green Quadrant: Building Decarbonization Consulting 2024 report.

Buildings account for 37% of global energy-related emissions, both direct and indirect. This report from Verdantix focuses on the huge potential for reducing emissions in the building sector through effective energy management.

The Verdantix report assesses consulting services that improve the carbon and energy performance of existing buildings. Schneider Electric is recognised for their comprehensive advisory services, which include optimising building systems, modelling energy use, and developing renewable energy strategies. The company aims for net-zero buildings through its strategies, digital tools, and decarbonisation efforts.
“Consulting providers with historical expertise in the built environment offer services to improve energy and carbon performance, across the full building life cycle – from construction to decommissioning,” said Connor Taylor, Senior Analyst, Verdantix. “Schneider Electric offers a diverse portfolio of products and services…and [has] invested heavily in recent years to scale its decarbonization offerings by developing in-house consulting expertise and specific decarbonization digital offerings.”

Their main services include market and climate risk analysis, energy efficiency, energy management, and renewable energy advisory.
