UGI Corporation said it received a rating upgrade to AAA in the 2022 MSCI environmental, social, and governance (ESG) ratings assessment in December 2022.

MSCI said that UGI was in the top 7% of peer companies worldwide in 2022 for how it handled ESG issues. This shows that UGI has good governance practices, cares about the health and safety of its employees and the people it serves, and has strategies to control emissions that are good for the environment.

Roger Perreault, President and Chief Executive Officer of UGI, said, “We are delighted to receive this rating upgrade, which affirms our commitment to corporate social responsibility and sustainability. UGI continues to handle ESG issues in a disciplined and collaborative way, with a focus on openness and progress. This upgrade shows that our employees are committed to living by our core values of sustainability, reliability, safety, excellence, respect, and integrity.
