Silverbow Resources Releases First SASB/GRI-Aligned ESG Metrics

SilverBow Resources, Inc. has announced the release of key environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data pertaining to the company's ESG performance in 2021.

The disclosures follow the suggestions of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) for the Oil and Gas—Exploration and Production industry and some of the Global Reporting Initiative's (GRI) governance standards.

Sean Woolverton, SilverBow’s Chief Executive Officer, commented: “Responsible stewardship of our environment, our employees, and our communities is ingrained in SilverBow’s culture. We've always put the safety of our employees and the health of the environment first.

"The ESG disclosures we're making today ensure that our actions are clear and consistent. Looking ahead, we will expand upon today’s ESG disclosures with the publication of our inaugural Sustainability Report in 2023.”
