In the categories of carbon management and subsea systems, the PowerDrive Orbit G2 RSS and Subsea Live service was recognized for excelling and achieving a high level of success.

Hart Energy's E&P recently announced that two Schlumberger technologies had been honored with the prestigious 2022 Meritorious Awards for Engineering Innovation (MEAs). The PowerDrive Orbit G2* rotary steerable system (RSS) and the Subsea Live* data-driven performance service were named the top technologies for innovation and achievement in the carbon management and subsea systems categories, respectively, of the awards program.

said Len Vermillion, Hart Energy's Editorial Director.

Meritorious Engineering Innovation Awards in 2022 The Subsea Live service accelerates and ensures decision-making for offshore production operations. The service enables operators to transition from reactive to proactive operations and optimize asset performance by integrating OEM expertise with automation, physics-based simulation, and AI to extract actionable insights in a secure, collaborative digital solution.

PowerDrive Orbit G2 RSS is a Schlumberger Transition Technology* that helps customers reduce the environmental impact of their drilling operations in a quantifiable way. The PowerDrive Orbit G2 RSS not only assists customers in meeting sustainability goals by reducing drilling time and rig emissions, but it also provides superior performance and business results.

The E&P MEAs are an annual awards program that recognizes new products and technologies that demonstrate concept, design, and application innovation. This year, E&P recognized technologies in 11 categories spanning multiple disciplines.
