Hikvision has announced its participation in the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative.

Aligned with its commitment to sustainability and corporate citizenship, Hikvision joins thousands of companies and non-business participants in embracing the principles of the UN Global Compact.

In recent years, Hikvision has worked to embody its vision of 'Tech for Good' and operate sustainably. Joining the UNGC is another step towards fulfilling the company's global responsibilities. Its focus on innovation, social impact, and efficiency will continue to drive its sustainability efforts.

The UNGC encourages companies to integrate the Ten Principles into their strategies, covering human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption, and to contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Hikvision integrates corporate social responsibility into its business practices, using technology to empower customers and contribute to societal well-being. The company's technologies support initiatives such as wetland preservation and environmental conservation.

Committed to accountability, Hikvision improves its governance practices and takes steps towards low-carbon manufacturing, employee welfare, and responsible supply chain management.

Believing in technology's potential for positive change, Hikvision has launched the STAR Programme for Social Good, supporting projects for biodiversity conservation. The company collaborates with non-profit organisations to make a difference.

As Hikvision aims to be a respected global technology company, it prioritises corporate responsibility and seeks to make a positive impact through its innovations. The company will continue to explore best practices in governance and sustainability, supporting the UNGC's efforts for a more sustainable future.
