The Human Rights Campaign's (HRC) Corporate Equality Index for 2022 gave Hess Corporation a perfect score of 100%. Hess has also been named to the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI). Hess has been named one of the Best Places to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality for the third year in a row.

Hess Corporation recently announced that it received a perfect score of 100% on the Human Rights Campaign's (HRC) Corporate Equality Index for 2022 and was named one of the Best Places to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality. Hess has also been named to the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI) for the third year in a row, which tracks the performance of public companies committed to achieving or adopting best-in-class statistics or policies, as well as transparency in gender-data reporting.

Hess is one of only five oil and gas producers to be named a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ+ by the HRC, and the only one based in the United States to be included in the Bloomberg GEI for gender equality.

said Tiffanie McDonald, Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Hess.

“This recognition acknowledges that commitment and the progress we continue to make in fostering an inclusive workplace that enables everyone to thrive.”

The Human Rights Campaign's Corporate Equality Index is widely regarded as the most important benchmarking survey and report in the United States for measuring corporate policies and practises related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality. Bloomberg's Gender Equality Index (GEI) is a modified market capitalization-weighted index that tracks the performance of public companies across all sectors in 45 countries and regions that are committed to gender-data transparency.
