Forbes Best Employers Diversity 2022 Square Dark

Aflac's U.S. workforce is 66% women and nearly 50% people of color. 64% of the company's board of directors are women and minorities. Forbes' 2022 list of America's Best Midsized Employers ranked Aflac 58th out of 500.

For the fourth year, Forbes named Aflac Incorporated one of the Best Employers for Diversity. Forbes' 2022 list of America's Best Midsized Employers ranked Aflac 58th out of 500.

The award is given by Forbes and Statista Inc., which is the top website for statistics and a leader in industry rankings. Statista's innovative methodology ensures unbiased results and reliable insights. To determine the Best Employers for Diversity, over 60,000 U.S. workers in companies with 1,000 or more employees were surveyed.

"Throughout our history, Aflac has consistently demonstrated how our diverse workforce makes us stronger and that true diversity and inclusion only happens when a company is purposeful in its commitment to ensuring opportunity for all," said Dan Amos, Aflac Chairman and CEO. "Diverse talent and fair-minded leaders earned this award. Forbes Best Employers for Diversity is an honor for us."

Aflac's culture embraces DE&I at all levels. Aflac's U.S. workforce is 66% women and nearly 50% people of color. 49% of leaders and 28% of senior managers are women. 64% of the company's board of directors are women and minorities. Aflac donated 72% to underserved communities in 2021.
