Enrico Massaro is named Barclays' EMEA Consumer and Retail Group Head

Enrico Massaro joins us after spending 19 years at JP Morgan. For a wide range of clients, he has participated in numerous M&A, IPO, fund-raising, and financing transactions. LVMH's purchase of Tiffany, Adidas' sale of Reebok, and KKR's acquisition of Wella are notable deals.

Barclays Corporate and Investment Bank today announces the appointment of Enrico Massaro as Head of Consumer and Retail Group (CRG), EMEA. 

Enrico joins from JP Morgan where he has spent the last 19 years, joining as an Analyst and most recently as a Managing Director in its Consumer Retail Investment Banking team. He has a broad range of experience having been involved in numerous M&A, IPOs, fund raising and financing transactions for wide variety of clients including public companies, family-owned businesses, financial sponsors and early-stage entrepreneurial clients across luxury goods, fashion, beauty and sporting goods. Notable transactions include LVMH’s acquisition of Tiffany, Adidas’ sale of Reebok, KKR’s acquisition of Wella, Salvatore Ferragamo’s IPO, PAI and BCI's sale of Refresco. 

Enrico arrives at Barclays in October and will report to Marco Valla, Global Head of Technology, Media and Telecoms and Consumer and Retail Investment Banking, and Reid Marsh, Head of Investment Banking, EMEA.
