ONE Swiss Bank Publishes First Sustainability Report

ONE Swiss Bank SA (ONE) released its first Sustainability Report today. It discloses and explains ONE's strategy, as well as some of the activities it has taken to become a better and more sustainable bank.

At its core is a strong belief that every sustainable strategy and the policies that come out of it must start with open disclosure and an effective governance framework.

This report is ONE's first step toward its objective of becoming a more sustainable bank. It doesn't claim to be complete, inspiring, or on the cutting edge of ESG advances. It just tells readers that the company is committed to making positive changes for its clients, employees, business partners, and society as a whole.

The bank wants to be open and honest about the problems and occasional roadblocks that can come up when a company tries to become more sustainable and make a real difference in the world.

Grégoire Pennone, Chief Executive Officer, ONE swiss bank, said:

"In addition to giving factual information about where we stand in terms of sustainability, we want to describe, openly and honestly, the difficulties and sometimes limits that can come up when trying to become a more sustainable company that actively contributes to change. Our efforts are led by a team of complementary professionals in their field of expertise, each with different roles within the company but united around a common goal.”

The report doesn't try to meet any sustainability reporting standards, like the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) Standards or the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards, but the bank hopes to meet one of these sets of standards by the end of 2024.
