The LYCRA Company, a pioneer in creating sustainable and inventive fibre and technology solutions for the apparel and personal care industries, is showcasing its latest fibre innovations for personal care and hygiene products at the world-renowned nonwovens exhibition, INDEX™ 23, held from April 18–21 at Palexpo in Geneva, Switzerland.

The LYCRA Company is debuting LYCRA EnviroFit™ fibre at the event, which is one of many fibres developed under its Planet Agenda sustainability programme. This fibre employs an exceptional chemistry that employs thinner yarns, thereby reducing the fibre per item and conserving resources while maintaining product quality.

Scott Blackadar, President of Personal Care at The LYCRA Company, expressed enthusiasm about the launch of LYCRA EnviroFit™ fibre, which maintains product performance while reducing fibre weight and saving resources and energy during diaper manufacturing. He believes the fibre will be highly attractive to manufacturers seeking to minimise their products' environmental impact and improve their carbon footprint.

Along with enhancing its fibre range for personal care items, The LYCRA Company strives to provide complete solutions for its customers' difficulties. It is presenting two distinct delivery technologies at INDEX™ 23 to help improve the spandex unwinding procedure and increase diaper line efficiency.

The LYCRA Company is exhibiting Trio Loop Technology, the latest yarn control system from BTSR International S.p.A, at INDEX™ 23. In combination with MATRIXCUBE tension-controlled plug-and-play unwinding systems, the technology enhances yarn tension control, thereby enhancing diaper line productivity.

Mesdan S.p.A.'s new and improved Knotter Type 093E for diaper production is exclusively distributed worldwide by The LYCRA Company. This innovative product improves efficiency and reliability by eliminating manual knot tying and reducing machine stops.

Werner Hopstaken, Global Director of Personal Care at The LYCRA Company, said that the new delivery technologies demonstrate the company's value as a trusted solution provider in the industry. The company encourages personal care customers to contact them to learn more about these innovative products by BTSR and Mesdan.

Customers can visit The LYCRA Company representatives at INDEX™ 23, stand number 2151, or check their website for more information on these innovations.
