Leading low-cost carrier (LCC) Jin Air of South Korea has received an A grade in the most recent Sustinvest ESG assessment for the first half of 2024.

More than 1,000 domestic listed firms had their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance evaluated by the reputable ESG evaluation and consultancy firm Sustinvest.

For the third time in a row, Jin Air has received an A rating in both the overall and "scale" categories, which account for the size of the firm and put them at the top of the Korean low-cost carrier rankings for ESG performance.

Jin Air goes above and beyond industry standards in its dedication to sustainability. They take an active part in environmental programmes such as recycling efforts and pet beach adoption programmes. They also exhibit a strong sense of social duty by participating in neighbourhood projects like volunteer work at children's rehabilitation facilities and kimchi-making fundraisers.

The creation of a special ESG committee and office in 2022 serves as further evidence of this commitment to ESG principles. These acts show Jin Air's dedication to a sustainable future and their all-encompassing approach to ethical business operations.
