IMM Investment announced its participation in the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (UN PRI).

This move aligns with the organisation's goal of promoting a more sustainable global financial system. IMM Investment finalised its membership process last month.

By joining the UN PRI, IMM Investment is showing its dedication to sustainable investment practices and values related to environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG).

An IMM Investment spokesperson highlighted the importance of this step, stating that it reflects the company's commitment to responsible investing.

They stressed their intention to continue fulfilling their social and environmental responsibilities as a responsible member of the community.

Currently, the UN PRI has about 5,300 signatories worldwide, collectively representing approximately $121 trillion in assets under management.

In addition to joining the UN PRI, IMM Investment introduced the Korea Stewardship Code in 2022 to better fulfill its role as a fund trustee. This code outlines seven principles and guidelines for institutional investors to follow in carrying out their fiduciary duties.

IMM Investment has also been transparent about its investment policies to strengthen investor confidence in its commitment to responsible investing.
