Gurit Gets Silver Ratings from EcoVadis for Sustainability Performance

EcoVadis, one of the largest sustainability rating agencies in the world, awarded Gurit a silver medal for its work on sustainability. This places Gurit in the top 12% of all EcoVadis-rated companies.

The assessment evaluates a company's performance in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainability. It takes into account multiple criteria such as environmental impact, governance, business ethics, labour and human rights, and responsible procurement. It is also based on global standards such as the United Nations Global Compact, the Global Reporting Initiative, and ISO certifications.

Gurit has made significant progress in its sustainability efforts over the past year. EcoVadis has given them a higher score, which puts them in the 88th percentile.

As a supplier to the renewable energy sector, the company aligns its vision to "With a passion for a sustainable future" and has formed a sustainability organisation with dedicated workstreams that involve experts and representatives from across the organisation. It has also been able to get a lot of its employees involved in sustainability projects around the world.
