Garmin Commits to Wind Energy Renewables with 20-Year Agreement

Garmin has inked a multiyear wind power arrangement that will provide sustainable energy to its Olathe, Kansas headquarters for the next twenty years. The Garmin campus will be powered by 8.6 megawatts (MW) of clean energy from an Oklahoma wind farm.

Demonstrating its dedication to sustainability, Garmin has signed a multiyear wind power agreement that will supply its Olathe, Kansas headquarters campus with renewable energy for the next 20 years.

The agreement with Evergy Inc. is expected to significantly offset Garmin’s carbon footprint and highlights the company’s commitment to a more sustainable future for employees, communities and customers. Through Evergy’s Renewables Direct program, Garmin’s campus will be powered with 8.6 megawatts (MW) of renewable energy from an Oklahoma wind farm.
