Hon Hai Technology Group and Zimeno Inc., hosted a product reveal event of the Monarch Tractor MK-V tractor to Foxconn Ohio employees at Foxconn’s facility in northeast Ohio.

Foxconn Technology Group said:

"As the world’s largest consumer electronics contract manufacturer and solutions provider, Foxconn is proud to partner with Monarch Tractor and reveal to our Ohio employees the next generation of autonomous electric vehicle tractor. The partnership with Monarch Tractor and the product reveal continues the transformation of Foxconn capabilities in the Mahoning Valley.”

Foxconn and Monarch Tractor signed a contract manufacturing agreement (CMA) in August 2022 to construct MK-V tractors at Foxconn's Ohio site. Following the completion of Foxconn's asset purchase agreement (APA) with Lordstown Motors, the agreement with Monarch Tractor represents the company's first contract manufacturing engagement.

Praveen Penmetsa, co-founder & CEO, Monarch Tractor, said:

"Production of our MK-V tractors at the world-class Foxconn facility ensures that our tractors will continue to be built here in the USA by a seasoned team of experts with an unparalleled commitment to quality and care. We are very proud to partner with Foxconn on this journey and deliver our tractors globally to accelerate a sustainable farming future.”

Monarch Tractor's MK-V Series commercial production is set to begin in Q1 2023 at the Foxconn Ohio site, a 6.2 million square foot complex of scalable production capacity. This follows the production of Monarch Tractor's Founder Series MK-V tractors in Q4 2022 at the company's Livermore, California manufacturing site.
