The Linz-based software company has pledged to reduce its CO2 emissions by at least 42% by 2030 as part of the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), which aligns with the goals of the Paris climate agreement. This commitment demonstrates the company's dedication to addressing the issue of climate change and reducing its environmental impact.

Fabasoft has set a goal to decrease its direct and indirect CO2 emissions by at least 42% by 2030 compared to 2021.

The company plans to achieve this by increasing the use of renewable energies, promoting e-mobility, designing energy-efficient office spaces, and focusing on sustainable supply chains and employee commutes.

To encourage sustainable transportation, the company offers subsidies for climate-friendly transportation options and has implemented a free e-shuttle service for employees.

"We are convinced that it is our responsibility to actively address global warming and contribute to achieving the Paris climate targets. The review by the Science Based Targets initiative also ensures that the measures we set correspond to scientific findings," emphasises Dipl.-Ing. Helmut Fallmann, founder and CEO of Fabasoft AG.
