Bursa Malaysia Berhad has introduced the Centralised Sustainability Intelligence (CSI) Solution to help Malaysian companies integrate ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) practices into their business strategies.

Streamlined ESG Reporting for Better Business Practices

The CSI Solution simplifies ESG reporting by offering tools to measure carbon emissions and streamline sustainability reporting across companies' value chains.

It addresses the needs of companies to comply with various ESG reporting frameworks cost-effectively and smoothly. This tool aims to help businesses and their suppliers manage ESG reporting requirements, thus enhancing their ability to compete in global markets with strong ESG standards.

Support for Companies of All Sizes

The CSI Solution is available to all companies, whether listed or unlisted, including small and medium enterprises (SMEs). It is a key component of MITI’s New Industrial Master Plan (NIMP) 2030, the i-ESG framework, and the National Semiconductor Strategy, aiding sectors like manufacturing to reduce carbon emissions and seize green economy opportunities.

Access to Preferential Sustainable Financing

The CSI Solution acts as a vital ESG data platform, with tools that support companies in various sectors, such as construction, oil and gas, manufacturing, logistics, and automotive. Companies reducing their emissions will receive preferential financing rates from participating bank partners.

Early Adoption of Global ESG Standards

To enhance corporate sustainability, the CSI Solution offers a great advantage by enabling local companies to adopt global disclosure standards. It facilitates the flow of sustainability information across supply chains, aligning with frameworks like IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards, TCFD, GRI, and the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.

Using the CSI Solution, Malaysian companies can share data on their ESG performance in line with these global standards, attracting global investors and customers who demand transparency and comprehensive sustainability reporting.

For more information or to register for the CSI Solution, companies can visit the Bursa Malaysia CSI Solution page.
