Aptar Pharma, a renowned global leader in drug delivery systems, services, and advanced material science solutions, has announced its participation once again in CPHI Barcelona, scheduled to take place from October 24 to 26, 2023, at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via in Spain.

This year, Aptar Pharma is set to dazzle attendees with its extensive array of drug delivery services and solutions, showcasing them from two distinct exhibit locations.

This strategic move provides visitors with a unique opportunity to witness firsthand how Aptar Pharma's innovations can inspire and bolster the development of life-improving and life-saving drug delivery solutions.

In Hall 2, at Booth 2K40, Aptar Pharma will unveil its latest breakthroughs across various drug delivery routes, including nasal, pulmonary, eye care, injectables, and dermal applications, in addition to their digital health and cutting-edge material science solutions.

Visitors to the booth will have the opportunity to explore:

  • Aptar Pharma's commitment to sustainability and their introduction of Micro+ Futurity™, a groundbreaking recyclable monomaterial Airless+ solution for dermal drug application. This innovation, certified by cyclos-HTP in select European countries, offers user-friendly, hygienic application, and precise dosing for consumers.

  • APF Futurity™, an eco-friendly multidose nasal spray pump devoid of metal components, designed for high recyclability. Built upon Aptar Pharma's Advanced Preservative Free (APF) technology platform, it's a finalist in the CPHI Pharma Awards 2023 Sustainability category.

  • The unveiling of Aptar Pharma's Advaspray® Unidose Liquid Nasal Spray, designed to meet FDA Combination Product reliability requirements. It promises reliable and precise nasal delivery for critical treatments.

  • Aptar Pharma's ongoing efforts to expand capacity and capabilities to meet customer and market demands, including their Global Injectables Expansion Programme, aimed at increasing capacity in France, the U.S., and China.

  • Aptar Digital Health's commitment to enhancing patient experiences through personalised digital support. The iPUMP is a user-friendly innovation that Stallergenes Greer recently unveiled in France to address difficulties in allergen immunotherapy treatments.

  • CSP Technologies, an Aptar Pharma company, addresses concerns related to N-nitrosamine impurities with N-Sorb. This innovation utilises the proven Activ-Blister™ platform to mitigate nitrosamine formation in drug product headspace.

  • Noble, another Aptar Pharma subsidiary, advancing patient experiences with their Patient Support Coach, a connected solution designed to enhance autoinjector training devices. This compact and user-friendly device detects user errors and provides step-by-step instructions via Bluetooth technology.

At Hall 8, Booth 80E48, Aptar Pharma Services will illustrate how they can expedite and de-risk the drug development process. Their experts from Aptar Pharma companies Nanopharm, Gateway Analytical, and Noble will be available to discuss comprehensive support, ranging from formulation to patient care.

Emphasising their dedication to sustainability, Aptar Pharma will host a Product Innovation Session at CPhI Barcelona titled "Mission Possible – Sustainability in Pharmaceutical Primary Packaging." This session, presented by Dr. Stefan Hellbardt and Julien Storz of Aptar Pharma Consumer Health Care, will take place on October 24 in Room 4.2, Conference Centre 4, from 15:30 to 15:55.

Patrick Jeukenne, Vice President Strategy, Business Development & Marketing at Aptar Pharma, expressed enthusiasm for the event: "Aptar Pharma is excited to showcase our key innovations and sustainability initiatives at CPhI Barcelona. We have expanded our presence at this year’s event to two booth locations to allow visitors to see why we are the go-to drug delivery partner, from formulation to patient, for their next drug delivery challenge."
