Amdocs is a multinational corporation that provides software and services for the telecommunications, media, and financial services industries. The company has recently achieved high sustainability rankings for its improvements in environmental impact.

Some of the achievements include the following:

  • CDP is a non-profit organisation that operates a global disclosure system for companies, cities, states, and regions to report on their environmental performance. Amdocs has been rated by CDP and has received an A- score, which is an improvement from their previous B rating. This means that the company is better at taking care of the environment than it was last year.

  • Its new, high-tech campus in Israel, Amdocs Park, has been given a LEED Gold rating for being built and run sustainably. The LEED Gold certification is one of the most prestigious and well-known in the green building industry.

  • It has also earned a place on the prestigious S&P Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) for North America for the fourth consecutive year. This year, Amdocs recorded perfect scores in several categories, including climate-related targets and strategy.

Amdocs is committed to sustainability, and its solutions are designed to modernise, automate, and digitise its customers' businesses, making them more efficient, less reliant on physical hardware, and able to scale supporting system environments up and down in real-time to prevent wasting resources.

These efforts are reflected in various investment areas, particularly in cloud-based products and cloud services. This approach to sustainability can help customers reduce their environmental impact by cutting down on the use of physical hardware and reducing energy consumption, while also increasing operational efficiency.

“At Amdocs, we are dedicated to making a positive impact on the environment and the communities in which we operate,” said Amdocs’ Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, Tamar Rapaport-Dagim. "For example, as the industry moves to the cloud, we help service providers move away from expensive hardware components that take up a lot of space and use a lot of energy. We do this by giving them software-driven capabilities. We are pleased to have our company-wide efforts recognised by these prestigious sustainability rankings and will continue to strive for excellence in this area.”
