Following approval from the Board of Directors, Aeroflot has published a sustainable development policy.

The Aeroflot Group's sustainable activities are based on the social responsibility principles of accountability, transparency, ethical behaviour, respect for stakeholder interests, the rule of law, and human rights.

The primary sustainable development goal of the group is to promote air connectivity in Russian regions and cities, population mobility, and the affordability of air travel while maintaining ecologically friendly operations.

Aeroflot Group contributes to all 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, emphasising 5: industry, innovation, infrastructure, responsible consumption and production, gender equality, decent work and economic growth, and climate action.
