Sustainalytics' 2022 ESG Risk Rating named UPL Ltd., a global provider of sustainable agricultural solutions, the best-performing top-tier global crop protection company. Sustainalytics has put UPL in this industry-leading position for overall sustainability performance for the third year in a row.

UPL has the lowest environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risk score of 21.4 among a peer group of global crop protection companies. UPL's ESG risk in Sustainalytics categories of Human Capital, Community Relations, Business Ethics, and Carbon Footprint was considered minimal or negligible. UPL's 2022 score, an 8% gain over last year's index, comes on the heels of strong year-on-year progress in the Sustainalytics rankings.
