KnowESG_WTTC, Greenview Launch Global ESG Policy Tracker for Tourism Sector
The new global ESG regulatory development tracker provides a fillip to the tourism sector, helping businesses align with the changing ESG regulatory landscape.
  • Businesses in the travel and tourism sector now have access to a tool that updates them on changing ESG regulatory laws in the industry.

  • Updated every three months, the tracker helps organisations fulfil their sustainability goals and guarantee compliance.

The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), in association with Greenview, a sustainability platform that helps hospitality organisations excel in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) areas, launched a new tool called the Global ESG Policy Tracker.

The tool is very useful for organisations in the travel and tourism sector to track regular updates and get insights into rapidly evolving international ESG regulatory changes.

The Policy Tracker comes with a digital dashboard where information related to ESG policies at the global, national, and state levels is available in summaries based on region and topic. This helps businesses understand which regulations they need to adhere to.

The information is updated every three months to ensure it stays relevant to the latest policy changes in the jurisdiction concerned, and users can access the services of an advisory group for guidance and help.

Julia Simpson, WTTC President & CEO, said: "ESG requirements are becoming more complex and more urgent by the day, and this partnership provides an essential tool to help companies not only comply with policy, but also lead the way in responsible, future-focused Travel & Tourism.

"The ESG Tracker offers timely, clear and actionable insights – helping them benchmark progress, anticipate change, and deliver on their commitments."

Eric Ricaurte, Founder & CEO of Greenview, added: "We are proud to partner with WTTC on this important initiative. Our expertise in ESG policy research and content management allows us to bring high-value, practical intelligence to hospitality leaders across the globe.

“Together, we’re building a resource that will drive meaningful change and support long-term resilience across the sector."
