Our cities are facing an unprecedented climate transformation due to human-induced climate change, and people are on the brink of losing their livelihoods and shelters, leaving them hopeless and worried.

From wildfires in Australia and Greece to floods in Pakistan and the UAE, every country and its respective regions are facing a serious fundamental problem as a result of their own activities.

So, at a time when the world is reeling under this situation, a climate assessment tool plays an increasingly important role in informing and triggering meaningful actions.

National Geographic has recently launched an amazing tool that helps understand how a region’s climate would transform by 2070 if carbon emissions were not brought under control.

Users can use this tool to predict how precipitation patterns, temperatures, and other climate variables will change in several cities by 2070 based on recent trends and projections.

A user, after entering his or her location, gets access to the climate outlook of the region, such as information regarding temperature variation, precipitation, and vulnerability.

This is a much-needed climate change assessment tool for the confused world in terms of climate action and helps take important decisions to protect the planet from losing its shimmer.
