The Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI) is a global initiative that recognises companies for their commitment to gender equality. Temenos, a technology company, has joined 47 other companies worldwide in the 2023 GEI. This inclusion is a recognition of Temenos' efforts to promote gender equality within its organisation.
Being included in the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI) for two consecutive years is a reflection of Temenos' commitment to promoting gender equality in the workplace. By encouraging more young women to pursue careers in the IT industry and advancing the representation of women in management positions, Temenos is demonstrating its dedication to creating a more diverse and inclusive work environment.
The company achieved a perfect 100% disclosure score in the 2023 Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI), which is higher than the average score of 96.31% for the technology sector. Its overall GEI score of 80.24% was 7.9% higher than the industry average, demonstrating its commitment to gender equality. Temenos is one of the 485 companies globally and one of 11 companies in Switzerland across all sectors to be included in the 2023 GEI.

It has made significant progress in promoting gender equality in its workplace. In 2021, women made up 47% of the company's workforce in the under-30 category, compared to 35% in 2014.
Also, the number of women in senior management jobs went up from 22% to 40%, and women in STEM jobs went up to 35%. Women comprise 35% of Temenos' global workforce. The company has rethought its policies, benefits, and leave programmes to create a workplace where everyone feels valued and has equal opportunities. This helps promote gender equality and diversity.
