From Sewers to Sustainability: Public Sewer Services Becomes PSS Utilities

Public Sewer Services, a specialist in utilities infrastructure and part of the Adler & Allan Group, has officially rebranded to PSS Utilities.
The company says the new name represents its evolution and expanded capabilities across the utilities sector, including wastewater, fresh water, and gas services.
The rebranding marks a major milestone for the company, which has served the utilities industry for over 25 years. With a strong foundation in drainage and water services, the company is now positioning itself to meet a wider range of infrastructure needs.
Lee Freeman, the managing director of PSS Utilities, shared the rationale behind the change:
“We are excited to announce the next evolution in our history as we evolve our brand to serve a broader set of customers in wastewater, fresh water, and gas."
Freeman credited the 2024 acquisition by ESG services provider Adler & Allan, backed by Goldman Sachs, as a key enabler for this transformation.
“The acquisition by Goldman Sachs-backed ESG services provider Adler & Allan last year, has been instrumental in our ability to undertake this rebrand exercise, which will allow us to tackle more of our customers' biggest environmental challenges of the 21st century.”
While the company’s name is changing, Freeman stressed that its core values remain unchanged.
