Souleymane Ba joins as Partner and Co-Head of Climate Strategy, bringing nearly 20 years of experience in responsible investing and emerging markets.
He previously led climate investments at Just Climate and supported essential service companies in Africa at Helios Investment Partners.
Souleymane's expertise spans venture capital, growth equity, and buyouts, with a focus on sectors crucial to the green transition, like transportation and energy storage.
Experienced Advisors Join the Team
Gina Domanig, a seasoned investor with over 35 years of experience, becomes an independent member of the Climate Strategy Investment Committee.
Gina currently leads Emerald Technology Ventures and holds board positions at various climate-focused organisations.
Steve Howard, a sustainability leader known for founding The Climate Group and co-chairing the We Mean Business Coalition, joins the Climate Advisory Board.
Mike Berners-Lee, a renowned expert on carbon footprinting and sustainable systems, also joins the Advisory Board.
Damilola Ogunbiyi, the CEO of Sustainable Energy for All and a UN representative, strengthens the board with her expertise in achieving universal energy access.
These new roles support LeapFrog's $500 million pledge to invest in green technologies and tools for developing economies.
