Highlights
Givvable and Pasia to work together for supply chain sustainability.
Achieve sustainability through training, supplier engagement, and automated screening tools.
The companies offer new resources and benefits to corporations, government buyers, and suppliers in Asia.
Givvable and the Procurement and Supply Institute of Asia (Pasia) have formed a strategic partnership to make sustainability central to procurement.
They will provide buyers and suppliers with the tools and knowledge needed to create more responsible supply chains.
Givvable's data platform, which screens over 45,000 suppliers daily, offers insights into supplier sustainability performance. Pasia, with its extensive experience in supply chain management and procurement, will add practical guidance and training to this data.
This partnership offers several benefits:
For Pasia members: Access to ESG tools, increased visibility for suppliers, and customised sustainability profiles.
For Givvable users: Support for certifications, supply chain training, and networking opportunities.
Frances Atkins, Givvable chief executive officer (CEO), says: "A partnership with Pasia aligns with our mission to provide corporate and government buyers and their suppliers, access to the data, tools and education that will bring them up the curve on sustainability. Asian businesses play a critical role in global supply chains, the vast majority of which are small to medium businesses (SMEs).
"Through this partnership, we seek to support Asian SMEs with tools and resources that help them understand how to address key environmental, social and governance issues, associated with their business and operations, and position them to contribute to the sustainability and ESG objectives of their Asian and global customers."
Charlie Villasenor, Chairman of Pasia, said: "This collaboration with Givvable allows us to support more suppliers and buyers in Asia on their sustainability efforts. Combining our strengths in our education and services means we can make a bigger impact than if we were to do it alone."
