Milena Kowalik-Szeruga joined their team in May 2024 as ESG Manager. Her experience props their offerings in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) strategies, non-financial reporting, and carbon footprint calculation.

Milena Kowalik-Szeruga: A Sustainability Leader

Kowalik-Szeruga has over 10 years of experience in building sustainable businesses. She implements innovative ESG practices that drive effective company growth. Her impressive portfolio includes over 200 projects for renowned companies like Atlas Ward Polska, Panattoni, Skanska, Basf, Warbud, and Nestle. Sustainable Development: A Business Imperative

Sustainable development is gaining critical momentum in the business world. It is no longer just about mandatory non-financial reporting (which will soon impact most businesses) but also a strategic shift. Crowe recognises this trend and is actively developing its ESG expertise to provide clients with comprehensive consulting, technology, and optimisation solutions.

Izabela Kuśmierz-Latała, CEO of Crowe in Poland, Czech Republic, and Slovakia, states: "Sustainable development is an increasingly hot topic for business – the companies themselves, as well as their clients, business partners, investors and employees. This is not only the non-financial reporting obligation, which will apply to most entrepreneurs, but also a strategic change. That is why we are still developing our competencies in this area to provide clients with comprehensive consulting, technology and optimization of ESG activities."
