NTT DATA, a global leader in digital business and IT services, has received "Best in Class" recognition from market analysis and consulting firm Pierre Audoin Consultants (PAC) in sustainability and CSR IT vendor analysis in Europe. The company was ranked first in eight different categories.

PAC's 2023 Innovation RADAR vendor analysis report named NTT DATA as the leader in sustainability-related IT consulting and services in Europe. The report evaluated the company's market strength and proficiency in eight categories, where it was ranked "Best in Class" for sustainability-related IT consulting and services in Europe and Germany.

NTT DATA also received top rankings for sustainability of IT, sustainability of IT applications and infrastructures, sustainability through IT, sustainability reporting, and sustainability through the Internet of Things (IoT).

"At NTT DATA, we firmly believe businesses have a responsibility to reduce our carbon footprints and prioritize environmental preservation. Therefore, we put the highest priority on sustainability - through both our own internal uses and the technology strategies we deploy to help our clients meet environmental, social and governance (ESG) requirements," said Kaz Nishihata, Senior Executive Vice President & Representative Director at NTT DATA Corporation." Being recognized as 'Best in Class' across the board in the respected 2023 PAC Innovation RADAR analysis shows that NTT DATA has the experience, the resources, and the technology services clients need to achieve environmental stability."

In Europe, PAC evaluated 26 IT service providers that are relevant in providing sustainability-related IT services. They assessed the companies based on various parameters such as dedicated sustainability-related consulting, service provision, and proven sustainability-related classic IT services like application modernisation, "green coding," and cloud migration.

The firm awarded scores based on interviews, analyses of PAC databases, and other secondary research for resources, delivery, portfolio, contract design, pricing, customer structure, customer references, investments, partnerships, and certifications.

Apart from earning eight Best in Class designations, NTT DATA also received an "Excellent" rank in two other sustainability-related IT consulting and services categories, namely, in the U.K. and the banking sector.

The company has invested in sustainability services, incorporating new technologies like AI, IoT, and blockchain to drive innovation in its sustainability solutions. NTT DATA offers various offerings, such as carbon footprint tracking, climate risk monitoring, natural capital management, smart city and smart mobility solutions, and sustainable healthcare solutions.
