Novelis Offers a Roadmap for Sustainable Use of Aluminium in Vehicles

Novelis Inc. world leader in aluminium rolling, recycling, and providing sustainable aluminium solutions, and a subsidiary of Hindalco Industries Ltd., will be a key participant in the first-ever Sustainability in Automobile Production conference, which will be held later this month in Germany.
Novelis will discuss how aluminium can play a significant role in developing climate-neutral, environmentally friendly ways to make vehicles. This is part of the company's mission to drive change for a sustainable future.
Novelis will participate in the conference as a sponsor, exhibitor, and speaker, sharing its experience, research, and guidance to educate the industry on the sustainability benefits of aluminium in automotive design and manufacture.
Jamie Zinser, the Vice President of Global Automotive for Novelis, will talk about how aluminium can help Novelis' automotive customers reach their long-term sustainability goals.
Ms. Zinser states, "Working together and sharing information at conferences builds our collective intelligence. Our presentation will feature strategies that provide a roadmap for the industry, with aluminium as a key component.''
The discussion will describe Novelis' mission to become the world's leading provider of low-carbon, sustainable aluminium solutions, advancing business, industry, and society toward a carbon-neutral, circular economy by 2050 or sooner.
Novelis will highlight how its expanding international closed-loop recycling programmes demonstrate its commitment to the environment.
Another topic of discussion will be Novelis' cutting-edge scrap sorting technologies, which improve scrap quality and enable increased use to minimise the CO2 footprint of flat rolled products. Following the presentation, Ms. Zinser and other industry professionals will hold an in-depth panel discussion with time for answers and questions.
During the two-day conference, a Novelis expert will be at the company's booth to explain automotive solutions and share more information.
