ICS currently offers packaging for colour cosmetics and skincare products manufactured with Eastman Cristal Renew copolyester at certified locations.

Eastman Cristal Renew copolyester is produced using the company's most advanced molecular recycling technique, which transforms hard-to-recycle plastic waste into materials with the same durability, colour, and clarity as virgin materials.

This makes it possible for ICS and its clients, no matter how big or small, to use less fossil-based resources and put out less greenhouse gas during the manufacturing process.

"ICS chose to work with Eastman because of their creativity and 100 years of experience coming up with new ideas for products in many different industries, like packaged consumer goods and cosmetics. As we continue to expand our range of sustainable packaging solutions through ethical sourcing and waste-free packaging design, working with Eastman is a natural next step. We are excited to add Eastman’s Cristal Renew copolyester into our growing range of sustainable material options.”Tara Stein, ICS VP of Sales & Business Development.

ICS received a Gold Medal rating from EcoVadis earlier in 2022 in honour of our Corporate Social Responsibility practices. The company has committed to using more eco-friendly products, materials, and processes. The partnership with Eastman shows how committed ICS is to sustainability and the circular economy by keeping waste out of landfills without giving up the packaging that consumers like.
