Hitachi, Ltd. will host the Hitachi Social Innovation Forum 2022 JAPAN, the largest Hitachi Group event, from Tuesday, October 25 to Thursday, October 27 (JST) as a forum to create opportunities for collaboration with customers and partners to recognise a sustainable society through its global Social Innovation Business.

Hitachi's Mid-Term Management Plan 2024 intends to improve people's quality of life by using data and technology to build a sustainable society, with Digital, Green, and Innovation projects serving as growth drivers.

Hitachi is expanding its Social Innovation Business, which is built on Lumada, a technology that allows digital transformation (DX). By using its fundamental capabilities in IT x OT products and Lumada, Hitachi will contribute to sustaining a society that does not exceed planetary limitations while realising welfare and solving difficult social concerns under the key slogan "Hitachi Social Innovation is POWERING GOOD."

This will be the 24th Hitachi Social Innovation Forum, and it will be an online event where individuals can participate in various activities virtually.

Hitachi will present, together with its customers, partners, and experts, what can and should be done for a better future, as well as the strategies and forward-thinking initiatives required, through more than 50 programmes, including a keynote session, various other sessions, and online exhibitions.

Furthermore, this year will see the introduction of webinars as a new programme type branded as "Hitachi Social Innovation Forum 2022 JAPAN Plus," which will be held following the main event to offer initiatives and solutions to challenges in various business fields.
