Wynn Resorts has unveiled its latest Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report, showcasing the company's responsibility programmes for 2022.

The report highlights various ongoing initiatives, including an expanded Diversity and Inclusion programme, local philanthropic endeavours, and significant advancements in renewable energy.

Craig Billings, CEO of Wynn Resorts, expressed his pride in the positive impact made by the company's employees, stating, "While there are numerous accomplishments outlined in this year's ESG report, what I am most proud of is the substantial influence of our dedicated workforce. Our talented team remains committed to making a positive impact and setting even more ambitious goals for the future."

The 2022 ESG report exemplifies the company's longstanding commitment to fair, transparent, and ethical behaviour, as well as its core values of giving back. Under the pillars of "Our People, Our Communities, and Our Planet," notable actions include:

Wynn Resorts introduced its inaugural Diversity Week, which further reinforces the company's dedication to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce. Diversity Week encompasses celebrations, education, and an appreciation of the various cultures within the company.

Throughout a week-long period in August, daily activities took place across North America, highlighting the company's three main diversity focus areas: Workplace, Marketplace, and Community.

Additionally, Wynn Resorts continues to invest in the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Recruitment Initiative, forming partnerships with HBCUs that offer hospitality and tourism programmes. Through campus visits and targeted engagement, the programme raises awareness of employment opportunities at Wynn Resorts and has welcomed its first group of graduates into the HBCU Management Training Programme. In 2022, Wynn was recognised by Forbes as one of the "Best Employers for Diversity," ranking among the top 12 companies in the Travel and Leisure category.

In 2022, employee volunteerism doubled compared to the previous year. Wynn employees in North America collectively volunteered over 28,000 hours, with Encore Boston Harbor employees making a three-fold impact in volunteerism compared to the previous year.

The Wynn Employee Foundation witnessed record-breaking employee giving in 2022, with over 2,500 employees generously donating more than $800,000. This marked the highest fundraising year in the company's history.

The foundation raises funds from employees to support communities in areas where Wynn Resorts operates. Wynn matches employee donations dollar for dollar, up to $75,000 per employee—the highest corporate match in the hospitality industry.

Wynn Las Vegas determined that 49% of its operational business hours in the previous year were powered by carbon-free energy. The company's previous investments in energy independence paved the way for further development of renewable energy resources in 2022, aligning with its goal of achieving Net-Zero status by 2050. Wynn Resorts also invested in cutting-edge technology to gain real-time insights into the sources of purchased electricity and the resort's carbon footprint.

The Wynn Resorts ESG Report refers to select Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards and Sustainability Accounting Board Standards (SASB) in providing comprehensive information.
