With New Appointments, Capgemini Puts More Emphasise on Global Industries and Sustainability Services

Capgemini has announced two new positions on its Group Executive Board. These positions support the company's strategic goal of giving clients business value through its deep industry and sustainability skills.

Jerome Simeon is presently the Global Industries Director. He formerly served as the CEO of the Southern Europe Strategic Business Unit. Jerome will bring together Capgemini's strong industry experience from around the world in this new role to satisfy the specific transformation demands of global organisations.

Andrea Falleni, formerly Managing Director of Capgemini in Italy and Global Sales Officer of the Southern Europe Strategic Business Unit, takes over as CEO of the Southern Europe Strategic Business Unit after Jerome.

Former Capgemini Invent CEO Cyril Garcia is now Head of Global Sustainability Services and Corporate Responsibility. In this new role, Cyril is in charge of integrating sustainability across Capgemini's client services portfolio, as well as driving the Group's own sustainability goal. Cyril is also in charge of Capgemini's Corporate Social Responsibility efforts.

Roshan Gya, previously Managing Director of Capgemini Invent in Southern Europe and Global Lead for Intelligent Industry, takes over as CEO of Capgemini Invent from Cyril.

The CEO of the Capgemini Group, Aiman Ezzat, said: "The new Group appointments strengthen Capgemini's role as a strategic partner for our clients' business transformations. Jerome will focus on consolidating the Group’s broad and deep industry expertise to meet our global clients’ specific business challenges. Cyril will ensure that sustainability is at the heart of our business offerings to enable organisations to meet their environmental obligations for a sustainable future. Both aspects are business critical for our clients and will bring them great value add. I also welcome both Andrea and Roshan to the Group Executive team. They are outstanding, seasoned leaders with exemplary track records.”
