Daniela Vlad Appointed New Executive Board Member of OMV Ag

The Supervisory Board of OMV Aktiengesellschaft chose Daniela Vlad to be the new Executive Board Member in charge of Chemicals & Materials. Daniela Vlad has agreed to take the job.
She will start on February 1, 2023, and work there for three years. If both parties agree, they can keep working together for another two years.
Daniela Vlad is currently Managing Director of the Industrial Coatings business at AkzoNobel. It is a global company with its headquarters in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It sells paints and coatings to businesses and consumers and puts a lot of emphasis on being environmentally friendly and coming up with new ideas. Before joining AkzoNobel in 2009, Daniela Vlad worked at Shell and Phillips in different management roles.
Alfred Stern, Chairman of the Executive Board and CEO of OMV, will continue to run the Chemicals & Materials business until Daniela Vlad takes over as an Executive Board Member.
