Investors are cautiously optimistic about 2024, fuelled by the receding threat of a global recession, rising interest rates, and a market correction that has reset valuations.

This positive sentiment will be a central theme at the upcoming "0100 Conference Europe 2024" in Amsterdam from April 16th to 18th.

Private Equity Market

Natasha Franks, Head of Client Reporting at Zurich-based Alpha Associates, believes the market is thawing after 2023's downturn. She sees signs of an improving IPO market and ample dry powder among fund managers ready to be deployed.

According to Ricardo Miró-Quesada, Partner at Arcano Partners, the secondary market also promises exciting opportunities. He expects the lack of liquidity and traditional exits to drive further growth in this area.

Beyond Optimism

The upcoming conference will address not only the positive outlook but also critical issues like global conflict, the uncertain social impact of AI, and the growing importance of ESG and impact investing.

Over 1000 private equity and venture capital professionals, along with 700+ investors and fund managers, will gather to hear insights from a diverse panel of over 120 speakers.

Pavol Fuchs, CEO of Zero One Hundred Conferences, stresses the dynamic nature of the industry and the conference's role in keeping investors informed and connected.

Global Unrest and Geopolitics

The ongoing conflicts and geopolitical crises raise concerns among investors. Nicolò Miscioscia, Partner and Head of Private Markets at Decalia warns of a "disturbing accustomization" to these issues. At the same time, Marc de Kloe, Partner at Theta Capital Management, expresses unease about the potential for further escalation.

The Duality of AI

The impact of AI is a double-edged sword, holding the potential for both positive and negative outcomes. Nicolò Miscioscia highlights its "uncharted territory" and its social implications. Natasha Franks adds that AI is poised to further integrate into business operations, offering greater efficiency in portfolio management.

Invitation to the Conference

The 2nd edition of 0100 Conference Europe will bring together over 1000 industry leaders on April 16th-18th in Amsterdam. Hear from influential voices across Europe and join the conversation about the future of private equity and venture capital.
