The Wholesale Banking segment provides investment banking services, such as financial advisory, trade securities transactions, and asset management businesses; and corporate lending and deposit taking, transaction banking, and treasury and market services. The company also offers savings, foreign currency, and current accounts, as well as fixed and Malaysia Ringgit deposits; personal and home loans, and multi-purpose loans; cards; and life and non-life insurance. In addition, it provides trade finance, cash management, money transfer, and digital and phone banking services; and hire purchase, leasing, and debt collection services. The company was formerly known as Bank Thai Public Company Limited and changed its name to CIMB Thai Bank Public Company Limited in May 2009. CIMB Thai Bank Public Company Limited was founded in 1949 and is headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. CIMB Thai Bank Public Company Limited is a subsidiary of CIMB Bank Berhad.
