Carbon Clean's New HQ: A Net-Zero Commitment

Carbon Clean, a pioneer in transforming carbon capture solutions, has relocated to its new headquarters at The Forge, symbolising the company’s impressive expansion, expanding clientele, and dedication to providing an exceptional workplace for its employees.
This move comes on the heels of two significant milestones unveiled last week. Carbon Clean was chosen by ADNOC to deploy its CycloneCC technology and entered into a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) with Samsung Engineering to further amplify its technology in the maritime sector.
The headquarters are situated near London Bridge, within the UK’s inaugural commercial development by Landsec designed in accordance with the UK Green Building Council’s criteria for a net-zero building.
The Forge proves to be an ideal location for Carbon Clean, designed to minimise environmental impact and promote collaboration among teams. The building incorporates PV solar panels, rainwater harvesting, natural ventilation, a green roof garden fostering bee pollination, and a commitment to divert 100% of waste from landfill.
Being the first occupant of The Forge, Carbon Clean aims to utilise the space for research, innovation, and growth as it embarks on a period of rapid expansion across global markets. It continues to progress towards commercialising its groundbreaking CycloneCC modular carbon capture technology by 2025.
Iain Tobin, Chief Corporate Officer & CFO of Carbon Clean, expressed, “Given Carbon Clean’s commitment to achieving industrial decarbonisation and a net-zero future, we are thrilled to find a new headquarters that aligns with our mission.
"Carbon Clean has doubled in size in the last year, and we were seeking premises that could accommodate our ongoing growth while providing a high-quality environment for our staff, partners, and customers. London is a global hub for climate technology and services, and we look forward to maintaining our leadership in carbon capture from our new base in The Forge.”
Carbon Clean plans to augment its workforce by over 90% by March 2025, and this move represents the latest expansion for the company following the establishment of its US headquarters in Houston in March.
