Zitro commits to becoming a more sustainable company.
Creates new teams focused on environmental protection, social responsibility, and good governance.
The teams will work together to reduce the company's environmental impact, improve working conditions, and ensure ethical business practices.
Zitro, a Luxembourg-based entertainment provider, is taking major steps to build a more sustainable business.
The company has formed a new Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Corporate Committee, an Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) department, and an Integrated Management Systems (IMS) department. These teams will work together to make Zitro a greener and more socially responsible company.
The ESG Committee will oversee Zitro's efforts to protect the environment, help people, and run the business ethically. The EHS team will focus on workplace safety and environmental issues. The IMS department will manage systems to ensure Zitro meets environmental and social standards.
To support these goals, Zitro has created four new teams:
ISO Standards Management Office (IMO): Ensures Zitro follows environmental and social standards.
Climate Change Office (CCO): Works to reduce Zitro's impact on climate change.
Project Management Office (PMO): Ensures sustainability is part of new projects.
Jira Customisation Office (JCO): Improves Zitro's tools for tracking environmental impact.
“We are proud to launch these initiatives as part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability,” said Johnny Viveiros Ortiz, Founder of Zitro. “With the establishment of the ESG Corporate Committee and the dedicated departments, we are poised to lead by example in our industry, driving meaningful change towards a more sustainable future.”
