WTW Chooses Joe Noss to Head Finance Sector for Climate Hub

WTW has recently announced the appointment of Joe Noss to head the Finance Sector in the firm's Climate and Resilience Hub (CRH).
Joe Noss will engage with financial institutions, regulators, and market operators globally to bolster the transition to a net-zero financial system. He is a London-based climate and financial expert having over 15 years of experience in the financial sector.
He had served on the G20 Financial Stability Board (FSB) before joining WTW, where he supervised climate financial regulation for the banking, investment and insurance sectors.
Noss had also served at the Bank of England for a decade before his tenure at FSB. He also became part of several international policies in his career.
Rowan Douglas, head of the Climate Resilience Hub at WTW, said: "COP26 propelled the financial revolution to integrate climate risks and opportunities into valuations and align markets towards a net-zero and resilient transition. We are delighted Joe selected WTW as the best platform to serve the financial sector. No one is better qualified to help our clients and wider stakeholders forge their optimum pathway in the climate decade ahead.”
Joe Noss said, "I am delighted to have joined WTW at this exciting time in the development of its market-leading solutions to achieve climate resilience. I look forward to working with the hugely experienced and talented climate team and the wider WTW business, and to supporting financial institutions to strengthen further their capabilities as they navigate the climate risks – and opportunities – and develop a long-term strategic response to them.”
