Kirkland & Ellis announced that Rebecca Perlman has joined the firm as a partner in London, focusing on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) & Impact matters.

With over 12 years of experience, Ms. Perlman specialises in helping clients understand ESG regulations, standards, and voluntary frameworks. She assists with ESG disclosures, risk management, and sustainability strategies, especially in corporate transactions and sustainable investments.

Having studied at the University of Oxford and completed her law studies in London, Ms. Perlman previously led ESG efforts at Herbert Smith Freehills.

Ms. Perlman is a top advisor in ESG, recognised globally by organisations like Chambers Global and The Legal 500. She is known for her innovative ESG approach and has been honoured by various publications, including Financial News and Real Deals. Ms. Perlman is also listed in NatWest's WISE100, highlighting influential women in impact investment, and was the first ESG lawyer featured in The Lawyer’s Hot 100.

Kirkland's ESG & Impact Practice Group, with over 25 attorneys in the US and UK, provides tailored advice to clients navigating ESG challenges and opportunities in their investments and operations.
