EcoVadis, a third-party assessor of ESG performance, has awarded nVent a silver sustainability rating.

nVent's overall score went up, putting it in the top 9% of companies in its industry and in the top 85% of all companies that EcoVadis evaluated.

“At nVent, we’re helping to build a more sustainable and electrified world,” said nVent CEO Beth Wozniak. “ESG is a core part of our business strategy, and our EcoVadis results show that our efforts are accelerating. I’m proud of our team’s hard work and ongoing commitment to sustainability that earned us this recognition for the second consecutive year.”

EcoVadis looks at companies in four main areas: the environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. EcoVadis regularly raises the bar for each of its sustainability ratings to keep up with the growing expectations for business sustainability. In each of the four EcoVadis assessment categories, nVent's results show that the company is making steady progress toward greater transparency and positive effects.
