mci group, a global marketing communications company focused on people, has announced its 2023 company report. This report highlights the group's progress in sustainability and inclusivity.
The group has been committed to sustainability for more than 15 years as a supporter of the UN Global Compact Agreement, and it has been renewing this commitment every day.
To further demonstrate its dedication to sustainable business practices, mci group joined with Global Destination Sustainability in 2023 for the GDS Awards and Net Zero Carbon Events. By 2025, the group wants to incorporate a social and environmental carbon tracking strategy into every proposal it submits to clients.
They have introduced measuring instruments and annually track and report on their environmental impact. To achieve net zero carbon emissions throughout its activities by 2030, the group intends to implement a centralised platform to track its partners and suppliers by the end of 2024.
The group, which has employees from over 70 nations, prioritises inclusivity. 87% of workers strongly feel that they belong to the organisation. With women holding 68% of the positions, the company maintains gender parity and has initiated 41 programmes focused on improving mental health and well-being.
In 2023, MCI Suisse SA renewed its ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications, displaying the group's commitment to data privacy and security with a CyberVadis assessment score of 939.
The company reported a strong financial performance, achieving a turnover of €493 million, reflecting an impressive 6% increase from the previous year. This growth was propelled by the successful completion of 5,094 client projects spanning 31 countries, serving a total of 1,175 clients.
