Itaipu Binacional and Itaipu Parquetec have launched the Acelera ESG programme for Brazilian startups.

The goal of the programme is to connect startups that develop technological solutions focused on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) aspects in Paraná and southern Mato Grosso do Sul states of Brazil.

The main challenges identified are as follows:

An investment of R$ 2 million has been allocated for developing technologies to support the sector.
