AE Industrial Partners, a private equity firm specialising in aerospace, defence, and government services, space, power, and utility services, and speciality industrial markets, has promoted Jennifer Essigs to Head of ESG, responsible for leading the company's efforts in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.

Mike Greene, Managing Partner of AEI, said, "We congratulate Jennifer on her promotion, which is a reflection of her contributions to our firm and AEI's continued commitment to developing a best-in-class ESG programme. The industries in which we invest have a meaningful impact on environmental and resource efficiency issues, and AEI is committed to leveraging our influence to drive significant ESG improvements within our portfolio and across the industry. We believe companies that actively manage material ESG risks are better positioned to navigate uncertainties, and building out our team and increasing our investments in ESG aligns with our goal of maximising investor value."

Jennifer Essigs was previously Director of ESG and Human Capital at AEI, where she led ESG initiatives such as the ESG Data Convergence Initiative (EDCI) and the Initiative Climate International (iCI) and was a signatory to the ILPA Diversity in Action initiative. She has a bachelor's degree from Arizona State University's W. P. Carey School of Business.

"I'm honoured to lead the Firm's effort in establishing a world-class ESG programme, which is central to creating more value across our portfolio," said Ms. Essigs. "AEI is proud of the work we've done so far, and we're working to improve our ESG capabilities by helping the companies we invest in build strong, strategic ESG programmes, policies, and practices."
