Unique Sustainability Honour Awarded to Dominion Energy

CDP has recently ranked Dominion Energy with an "A" for Climate Change and Water Security.

Dominion Energy's "A" rating for Climate Change and Water Security reflects the company's exemplary transparency and performance. Out of nearly 15,000 companies evaluated by CDP, only 2% received an "A" rating in either category. Dominion Energy's recognition underscores its leadership in addressing climate and water-related issues.

CDP operates a worldwide disclosure system to help investors, companies, and governments manage their environmental impact. As a nonprofit, CDP advocates for urgent action to tackle climate change and prevent environmental harm. Its rating system is consistent with the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures and is widely recognised as the environmental reporting benchmark.

Dominion Energy's "A" rating for Climate Change and Water Security was determined based on CDP's Electric Utility evaluation criteria. Although CDP requires companies to choose a primary sector for rating, Dominion Energy provided information on its 2021 gas operations for transparency purposes.

Apart from its recognition by CDP, Dominion Energy has also received an AA rating (leader band) for managing ESG issues from MSCI, an ESG rating firm. Additionally, it has been recognised as a Trendsetter by the Center for Political Accountability and the Zicklin Center for Business Ethics and Research at the University of Pennsylvania.
